I am a passionate Software Engineer. I got into programming early on, starting with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) before moving on to Java, Python, C/C++ and Rust. At the time, I am in the final stage of my Masters in Computer Science at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg.
The focus of my studies has always been software engineering. I took many courses putting emphasis on practical software design and implementation. During my Bachelors, this was mainly in the scope of heterogeneous imaging systems. In my Masters I looked more deeply into systems programming and agile methods.
Alongside my studies, I was and am still regularly taking on personal projects, including the development of games, using self-developed game engines.
Within the scope my Masters project at university, I developed a location tracking system for the Deutsches Museum Nuremberg in a team of six members.
Link to ProjectTogether with a small team I took part in the 5€-Business founding competition. We founded a software company devloping a video analysis software for athletes.
I grew up in a small village with a volunteer fire department, for which I developed a website.
Glass-J is a Java graphics engine I developed during my studies. I used it, among other things, for the implementation of my Masters seminar project.
During my Masters I got into contact with the Rust programming language. I started developing this video game engine in Rust. Together with a small team I developed several games using this engine, two of which are listed below.
